The wine

2025 Pinot Noir

2025 Inaugural VintageLimited to 250 Cases

Our inaugural 2025 Pinot Noir is a richer expression of Oregon’s celebrated Laurelwood District. Classic in character yet generous in body, it reveals bright red cherry, raspberry, and dark berry notes, balanced by vibrant acidity and a smooth, silky finish.

The front label: Fringuello 2025, the Rossi bird and ROSSI. Lively notes of bright red cherry, raspberry, and dark berry are balanced by vibrant acidity and a silky finish. Oregon’s cool climate and marine-volcanic soils produce Pinot Noir of remarkable elegance, depth, and finesse, earning recognition among the world’s finest. Pinot Noir.

The family

Five generations in Oregon

The Rossi family’s story in Oregon starts in 1880, with an Italian farmer in Portland. Rossi Wines is its newest chapter.

    First generation

    Alfonzo Debenedetti

Came from Italy in 1914 and married Alfonzo’s daughter Edith. In 1920 he and his friend Jim Giusto bought the land on NE 122nd Avenue that became Rossi Farms.

  3. Aldo Rossi

    Third generation

Home of Rossi Wines

Rossi Farms, on NE 122nd Avenue, is the family’s historic property. Its red barn went up in 1920, the year the family bought the land.

Today it is the home base of Rossi Wines, and the home of its tasting room and wine experiences. The 2025 Pinot Noir launched here on Sunday, September 20, with a private pickup and a speakeasy afternoon for Rossi Wines purchasers.

The grapes for the 2025 Pinot Noir come from a separate legacy winegrowing estate in the Laurelwood District AVA.
